Hospitals, Community Health Clinics and Urgent Care Clinics
Health Share of Oregon contracts with all of the major hospital systems in the Tri-County area that participate in Medicaid. These include our founding partners Adventist Health, Legacy Health and Oregon Health & Science University. Our partner health plans, including Kaiser Permanente, Providence Health and Tuality Health, also have major hospitals within their systems.
Community Health Clinics
Health Share also works in partnership with community health clinics through the Portland Tri-County area to ensure our members receive community-based, comprehensive, culturally competent, quality primary health care services.
Central City Concern represents community health clinics as a founding member of Health Share. Executive Director Ed Blackburn represents community health clinics as a member of Health Share’s Board of Directors. The Coalition operates joint programs for member clinics and provides a space for clinics to work together to improve quality, share best practices, and coordinate care for patients. Urgent Care Clinics
If you have a serious illness or injury that requires quick attention, you may go to an urgent care clinic. Urgent care clinics are open seven days a week, beyond regular primary care office hours.
Always call your Primary Care Provider’s office before you go to an urgent care clinic. You can call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Many primary care offices have same day appointment availability or can advise you on the next steps to take.
Health Share has a large network of urgent care clinics across the Tri-County Metro region, including Legacy, Providence, Kaiser Permanente, Tuality, OHSU, Adventist and free-standing urgent care clinics. You can find contact information and locations for urgent care clinics in your physical health plans' provider directory or on their page on My Health Plan.
This combination of primary care and urgent care creates a large network of quick access options for our members.
