Community & Health Industry Sponsorship Program

Health Share sponsors health care-related community and industry-facing events. Please read below for more information to assist in completing the appropriate application for your event.

Community Sponsorship Application Process

Community sponsorship relates to member-facing events only. Health Share’s priority for member-facing sponsorships has a particular focus on events that support and engage our members, especially those populations who experience severe health and health care disparities.  

Organizations requesting event sponsorship support should follow the steps below:

  1. Review Sponsorship Program information below

  2. Fill out the Community Sponsorship Application or Industry Sponsorship Application below

  3. Submit the application and any supplemental materials at least 60 calendar days before start of the event

  4. Receive confirmation from Health Share staff within 7 calendar days after submitting application

  5. Receive decision from Health Share within 30 days of submitting application

Industry-Facing Sponsorship Application Process

For industry-facing events, please submit an Industry Sponsorship Application. Industry-facing events include health care-related community forums, fundraisers, conferences, provider-related events, etc.

Community Sponsorship Information


  • Reach Health Share members and build connections and trusting relationships with their families and community

  • Build partnerships with community-based organizations by generating positive exposure/alignment for Health Share of Oregon consistent with our mission, vision, and values

  • Support the capacity of organizations that improve the social conditions and/or health of the tri-county community at large

  • Promote health equity among culturally-specific and vulnerable populations through increased engagement with health care system


If you are applying for a community sponsorship, the following requirements must be completed:

  • Event or activity must be directly engaging and impacting community members on the Oregon Health Plan

  • Location of event must be in Clackamas, Multnomah, or Washington County

  • Organizations may only receive one community sponsorship per calendar year, up to $2,500

  • Events cannot require an entrance fee
