Mindy Stadtlander Named New CEO of Health Share of Oregon

Health Share of Oregon’s Board of Directors announced today that after conducting a national search, it has selected Mindy Stadtlander as the new CEO of Oregon’s largest Medicaid coordinated care organization (CCO). Stadtlander has served as interim CEO since January 2023 and COO since July 2020.

“We are thrilled to name Mindy as Health Share’s new CEO and are so grateful for her leadership and expertise that will help guide Health Share forward,” said R.J. Gillespie, board chair for Health Share and pediatrician at The Children’s Clinic in Portland. “She has a long history with both Health Share and its collaborative partners, and nearly two decades of experience in delivering healthcare to our community’s most vulnerable populations. The board has been impressed with Mindy’s performance as interim CEO, and we appreciate her collaborative approach, calm demeanor, and open communication style.”

Stadtlander brings both deep experience and extensive relationships to this important role and will continue to build on the trust she’s earned from Health Share staff and partners alike.

“I continue to be inspired by the work of the organizations that make up the Health Share collaborative. We have enormous challenges in front of us – a lack of affordable housing, ongoing health inequities, a profound behavioral health crisis and ongoing workforce shortages – but by working across organizations, expanding our partnerships, and focusing on what our members need, I know we can make meaningful progress,” said Stadtlander. “I have a talented team around me, many of whom I’ve worked with closely over my past three years at Health Share; I’m excited to further capitalize on what we’ve been building together as an organization.”

Prior to joining Health Share, Stadtlander held several senior-level positions at CareOregon, most recently Senior Vice President of Medicaid and Network Services. She previously spent several years working for federally qualified health centers, including Multnomah County and Community Health Partners in Bozeman, Montana.

Stadtlander holds a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from Chatham University and Master of Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh.
